West Virginia VINE means Victim Information and Notification Everyday. It is reached through VINELink. The state's official expansion announcement says VINE covers all ten regional jails. That includes Potomac Highlands Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, or PHRJCF, which serves Mineral County from Augusta. WVDCR prison custody also participates.
Coverage follows the supplying custody agency, not county borders. A Mineral County arrest can lead to a PHRJCF record even though the facility sits in Hampshire County. A person sentenced to state custody can be held elsewhere in West Virginia and still appear through the WVDCR layer. A released result supports the conclusion that the participating custodian reported its configured release event. Confirm it with PHRJCF or WVDCR. If the event says transfer, the person remains in custody. Ask for the receiving custodian and movement reason when the destination matters.

Mineral County VINE Event Types
